Monument video mapping
After Lens in 2022, the Agglomeration of Lens-Liévin invites the Video Mapping Festival for 2 events to discover one after the other, in 2 cities of the agglomeration: Liévin and Vimy!
For this second evening, the Video Mapping Festival presents a colourful show on the facade of the Vimy City Hall. Somewhere between abstract and figurative, this creation draws its inspiration from the local history to offer a vision of a green future!
> Alongside the mapping, from 5 pm:
Wooden games workshop with the organisation Jeux Dés Roule, Kapla workshop with the Pays d’art et d’histoire de Lens-Liévin, construction workshop with Les Aventures de Léo, wall of expression, screening of the video of the Acrosport workshops.
► Resilience
This mapping immerses us in the history of Vimy during the war, from the oppressive darkness of the German occupation to the dawn of liberation. Every element of the sequence is charged with symbolism, from the strategic crest to the cage of oppression. A visual metaphor of a city’s resilience facing adversity!
