For its closing, the Video Mapping Festival returns to Amiens for a weekend with a 7-step video mapping tour in the city centre to discover different forms of video mapping :
City Hall > Picardie Museum (Grand Salon, Lady Godiva wall) > Louis Aragon Library (Memorial in the Main Courtyard) > Statue of General Leclerc > Perret Tower > Notre-Dame Cathedral (Gate of the Golden Virgin) > Galeries Lafayette

However, you can start the loop wherever and whenever you want, and follow the tour at your own pace!
The creations are shown in a loop from 7:30 pm to 12 am.

3 artists share the City Hall’s facade and invite you to discover 3 different mapping styles and universes, for an overview of the possibilities and richness offered by video mapping!

► Picardie Museum (Grand Salon, Lady Godiva wall) – object video mapping

Enter the Grand Salon of the Picardie Museum and watch the paintings on the Lady Godiva wall come to life and tell you their story thanks to video mapping!

► Louis Aragon Library (Memorial in the Main Courtyard) – interactive mapping on statue
50 rue de la République
Duration: approx. 2 min

In the Main Courtyard of the Louis Aragon Library, the statue of Frédéric Petit is alive, lit up and in full bloom thanks to the movements of the public, in an interactive mapping that pays tribute to women and science.

► Statue of General Leclerc – mapping on statue

An abstract, geometric mapping synchronised to electronic music, taking us into a musical trance on the theme of memory and hope.

The Perret Tower is dressed up in a thousand colours in this monumental mapping that promises to be a real eye-catcher!

► Notre-Dame Cathedral (Gate of the Golden Virgin) – monument mapping
Rue Cormont
Duration: approx. 4 min

An abstract creation in which the gothic and geometric architectural elements of the facade gradually give way to the patterns of the Cathedral’s interior floor, creating new shapes to dress the Gate of the Golden Virgin.
